The next Worship and Music Committee meeting will be at the church on Wednesday, August 25 at 10:00 AM.
Thanks to all of you who filled out our survey and gave us your feedback. As usual there were diametrically opposed beliefs (Love lay-led services, give us more!/Hate them!) but generally plenty we agree on. We'll be getting more of the new supplemental hymnals as one example. I have emailed the results to the church and the Yahoo list so if you are interested in the details let me or Therese know. We'll continue to work on the music as many have requested and try to include the subjects suggested for sermon topics.
Summer Services for July and August will begin at 9:30 AM and children will go directly to their classes before the service. We will have lay-led services through August 15 following the Adult curriculum of Evensong, which helps us to deepen our relationships with one another by allowing us time to really listen. All will have a chance to share their experiences and ideas about the spiritual journey. As always sharing is optional and you may just choose to sit and take it all in.
